Auto Highbeam Assist Malfunction
Gentlemen,
I've been having this issue for a while now. At night when the headlights come on, after about ~20min of driving, I get a message saying "auto high beam assist malfunction, sensor visibility reduced". It goes away when I shut off the engine and turn it back on, but again after ~20 min, it'll come back on and stay on. Anyone encounter this issue, and if so, has anyone been able to figure out why it happens? Where is the sensor located? does it require going to the dealership? I would take it there, but I called and they said they need a full day for it which is obviously bullshit. EDIT: In reality, it is a useless feature, but the error and the little triangle on the info screen is annoying |

The sensor is located behind the mirror. If you look in from the front you will see the little box right below the mirror with the sensor in it.
The only problem I had with mine was not being in auto on the light switch. |
