New E70 owner.
Moving over from E90POst where I have lived for 8 years, I just picked up a minty Alpine White 2012 50i M Sport with only 25K miles.
Coming from a mildly tuned 335i that ran mid 12s without breaking a sweat, I really wanted the M and test drove three of them. Loved it but the MPGs and future maintenance scared me off a bit so I met my wife halfway (she wanted a 35i - I laughed). Looked at hundreds of these and found this one 800 miles from my home. M Sport, Premium, Premium Sound, Technology pkgs, comfort access etc. Got it out the door for under $51K plus tax. The only thing I didn't want is the 223M rims. Probably put winters on them and get some 20" 333s. I'm probably going to tune it - I've used Terry for years, anyone running his N63 module on their X5? So holla at ya E70 peeps.

Gorgeous machine! Pricey too, but then again, these aren't always easy to find.
I always wondered why the 50i had the 333M wheels as an option as opposed to it being a standard alloy. |

Great ride man ! I did the same thing, but keeping my nicely modified and tuned e90 335xi..
The 2013 e70 X5 is for the wife, but I had to agree not to make any mods to it within the first 12months hahaha... Already looking at the OEM Style 215's in black, killer rims. Congrats ! Love the colour combo too ! |

Yes, I have reassured her that I won't modify it but she won't know about the JB hehe.

The 333M wheels are actually an option on an option - the M Sport package. Without them, the M Sport comes with what I have.

Correct. What I meant by my comment was that my 35i M Sport came with the 333M as the standard alloy, yet the (pricier) 50i M Sport does not. Seems like it should be the other way around.
