Ratteling Sound From Passenger Side

Hello,

I recently purchased a 2011 BMW X6 x35i and was wondering if you could help me figuring out what might be the cause of the following rattling noise:

The noise comes in from the passenger side of the engine.
The rattling occurs when

• The vehicle is idling
• When driving at low revs (between 1000 and 2000)

The noise goes away when I floor the gas pedal.

I am taking the vehicle back to the mechanic during the weekend but I just wanted to make sure that I can keep driving the vehicle until then.

since everything is fine except the noise.. sounds more like some faulty joint or misplaced heat shields on the exhaust system..
