E71 owners, what is the go-to for white angel eyes?

I just picked up a 2013 X6 yesterday and was shocked that it had the orange angel eyes since my 2011 535i has white ones.. What is the best bang for the buck in getting as close to white as possible?

Since late January. Subzero days where we are. My Son and I are very happy with them. They look great.
I got them from Turner for they are known, and if I didn’t like them they go back.

Try to stay away from the cheapo LED units. They work great and are usually reliable but only the inside rings are white while the outside units are faded and weak looking. The ones above look great.

The LUX or Turner/Aziza units?

Hi, what is the difference between Lux 189 and V6 except the V6´s adjustability?

Which one do you recommend for E71?

Thanks

You basically need the brightest, six-sided LED possible. The outside rings is fed light similar to how a Neon circuit works, but the tube is actually a thick Fiber Optic ring(ignore the Pidgin English):

6 sided is actually not recommended, that is why we designed our lights to be 4 sided LED's to maximize the brightness to the outer rings.

There is no doubt six-sided LED produces more Lumens. See my little diagram above - the more scattered light the Fiber rings collect.... the more illumination they put out.

Seller ignored my message about V6 vs 189 differences, can any owner compare them?

Is that Ziza performance a safe bet too? The best comparison would be Ziza with Lux, if anyone has tried both. I want the outside rings as bright as possible and as an owner of e71 I have to stay away from ebay/aliexpress bulbs due to stupid AE construction in my car...

They are ALL waaaay overpriced. I went with an eBay seller, for 120w 6500k six-sided LEDs with one year warranty.... $34.00/shipped. I’m good with that:

I agree it´s a lot of money for two bulbs, I´d pay that only if both rings are equally bright.

Your inner ring seems very nice, but outer doesn´t look so good in direct comparison. Are your ebay bulbs the strongest stuff in the ´´cheap´´ ali/ebay territory?

The photo does not do it justice. These bulbs are significantly better than my $12 H8 “upgrade” which had the outer rings barely putting out 1/8 the light of the yellow H8 original. I’d say to the untrained eye - you will barely notice it, with the $34 six-sides LED. It’s still 70% of the output of inner rings and I’m perfectly okay with that.

Ok then, I´ve decided to give it a shot.
Can you please send me URL?
Thanks.

Btw. if it won´t look good in my car, there´s another option, but much more complicated installation: https://bit.ly/2AYxISJ

Any experiences with these?

Thanks I will.

But there´s expensive shipping and custom fees to central europe, so I was searching elsewhere. Do you think one of these will be the same as yours?

That second link above, is exactly what you want. It has the same CREE circuitry as mine.

Thanks, do you think there are any differences between first and second link LEDs?
Both are 120w and look similar. First product is cheaper and not described as ´´CREE´´.

I´ve found another, this should be the same as yours: https://bit.ly/2N0VOig
