Kimo - I have early interest in the rear brakes. Would you split up the pair? How much for the rear calipers and rotors?

Kimo, can you explain a little about what Supersprting 1 and 2 does and all that? I would like to do something to my exhaust to make the sound better but not sure what to do. Spending the dough on a full system like yours is not an option. But if I can do some other sort of mod for relatively cheaper then I might be interested.

Section 2 is the xpipe, which is designed for high rpm and horsepower typically. H style section 2's are more for torque. Since this car falls on it's face up high I figured whatever little bit I could do to help that would be good. My Eisenmann is purely a sound mod. I got the sport so it was valved. This keeps cold starts quiet. I was essentially straight piped from turbos back so I needed the sport to tame it. It did an excellent job of that. No drone, quiet when cruising, and insane on wot. Most folks when modding these just do a downpipe and a muffler. Or they go Akrapovic. The mid sections are not really must haves. So to replicate you could just do that. Heck the absolute cheapest route would be to do catless downpipes and a tune. You will have smell still, but the power will be there and noise will be minimal. If catless is not an option you can get a high flow catted downpipe, tune, and muffler. This will give you good sound, no check engine light, no smell, and power. If even high flow catted downpipes are not your thing, maybe you do not even want to open up that area engine wise, you can do an exhaust and tune. Sound and power with no smell. Maybe no spool sound and not max power, but enough sound and power to still be awesome. Say my muffler and order yourself a tune from velos... :youknewsalespitchwascoming: |

Haha awesome. Thanks for taking the time to explain it. So from what I understand doing just the superstrint 1 or 2 (or both) with everything else stock doesn't really do anything then.
The exchange rates are ridiculous right now or I would have definitely taken the exhaust from you. |

Regarding the KWs I honestly don't know, but any KW vendor could price them. I would guess no more than 2-300 max. 4 bushings for the rear shock mounts, dust covers, bump stops, and helper spring separators can't be that much I would imagine. The only relatively expensive part would be if you had the shocks rebuilt. Even then with the price I'm giving you would still be saving over $1000 compared to new. The shocks themselves are fine and don't need a rebuild its just more of a they are not installed yet so maybe might as well type of thing. |

Btw in case anyone here was wondering what the project was going to be with the trim here it is. I was planning on getting new vents and door pull surrounds painted piano black so I could have a full piano black stripe if you will around the interior. I never liked how the vents were in the way of the trim and never finished in it. Makes no sense either as the e60's and e9x's have trim surround vents. |

Sorry not going to do that. Keeping the cf trim with the car as it came with it. Want the car to match the vin description as much as possible for selling purposes. However you could always buy the piano black trim and send it Dinmann or oCarbon, who would be more than happy to put real carbon fiber on it. You would be one of the only ones in the world with actual carbon fiber trim in an e70. |

Today's bump:
KW v3 in need of new hardware, newish edc kit (only front resistors were used for a few months), and new Powerflex rear camber bolts. New price is $1040 (PayPal fees is the $40) plus shipping. You absolutely will not find a better deal than this. That is basically $2500 less than new with the the understanding you have to buy new hardware, ie bushings, bump stops, etc. I would wait to get the kit from me, assess exactly what you need, then order the hardware directly from KW or a vendor. No need edc hardware as that is all new. Drop of awesome and the handling to match:

Definitely keep thinking about those Brembos. If changing the price we discussed a hair will help you pull the trigger, let's do it! |
