I have a subscription to a full service wash and wash it almost every time I drive it. Interior looks almost brand new. Worth the $50/month.
When I got it last year I did a moderate paint correction on it and clay bar and wax it in late fall and late spring. Third thing being snapseed... It add's wonders. lol

Two more photos I took last night when we grabbed dinner at a little restaurant by our house. Took advantage of having my wifes car with me. Yes, I know my bumper plugs are gone. I'm in the process of getting new ones now.

What wash did you do a 50$ a month subscription with? Do they do the inside to?
I need to detail mine once its not 20 degrees. The last 2 pictures you posted, I think my Cousin got married there, if its the place I am thinking of.

Most likely is. Herrington Harbor is big for weddings. They just redid the entire place in the last year (and still doing it). It's gotten a lot nicer.

damn, they are to far away for me to justify doing a monthly. I should get my mother in law and her husband to sign up for that, her car is a mess all the time. I guess Ill research see if anything up this way has a monthly service plan I can do, I need that for my wife's jeep.
Ya that's the location, sorry to be a stalker, I just got excited when I knew the place. Its quite nice, and the restaurant you guys were at seemed super cool, we grabbed some beers there before the wedding.

Question for you, what made you choose the Velos stage II tuner?

I got it during their big holiday early bird sale. If I were to do it over again I would have gotten Tuning Tech in Crofton to do the tune.

ya my long time buddy with an e46 told me about him. I heard he is the guy to tune trucks. It looks like his dyno tunes cost what these off the shelf ones costs from ECS or Velos, or Berger. So he may be the best choice. I wish I could find out when he has dyno events.

I tried contacting him last week and couldn't get a hold of him to find out pricing. I am leaning towards just going with a JB4 flash because of this.

My self and the passenger are ok. Guy pulled out in front of me. If I had to guess I was doing 35-40 at the time. Not much time but I jammed on the brakes.
Driver side airbag deployed along with both fronts. Believe it or not the airbags are fairly cheap right now. Hood, Bumper, Fenders, headlights and replacement carbon lip are not. Hoping I can get the insurance company to total it fairly quick so I can be done with the process. I don't think there is any chance they repair. Just don't want to deal with the tear down time, etc. Headlights (3500) Hood (1700) Bumper (2000) Fenders (2200) OE Carbon lip (2500) Front parking sensors (500) HUD Windshield (700) Side apron airbag and sensor (1000) $14000k not even counting the Merino leather dash, air bags, air bag modules, seat belts, all of the stuff busted that can't be seen. Radiator, invercoolrs, core support, etc. Plus labor. 60 days repair so a mid size SUV rental for 8 weeks (another $2500). I don't see them spending too much time looking it over.

Glad to hear you and your passengers were unharmed in the incident, but that picture hurts
If that was in the UK it would be classed as a right-off but you could have the option to buy it back from the insurers at a reduced cost plus a payout. Still, i'd probably just take a settlement fee and claim for injuries and losses and move on. |
