But they were never as bright as the LEDs. It might have been due to their age. This is also on these lights I got off eBay. https://www.ebay.com/itm/12480409681...mis&media=COPY So maybe the xenon bulbs did not pair well with those lights. I like the LEDs much better. Now I can see a lot further. First picture is xenon bulbs with high beams on. Second picture is LED bulbs with low beam. Third picture is LED bulbs with high beams. |

Transmission filter/pan and fluid. Went with oem fluid. Used Foxwell NT530 to read the transmission oil temp for proper fluid level. ‘13 X5 50i. Been lucky with dealer coupons for oil changes for $100 but Next oil change likely tackle the loose oil pump chain that’s been mentioned here. Just rolled to 110k so it’s time.

Do you think it’s possible to swap those into the E70? I’ve never had light output issues with those. These LED bulbs were actually for my pre lci xenon E90. I bought them a few months ago but never installed them. E70 needed them so I just put them on it. I’ll most likely go with the LED again for the E90. |

Replaced n55 valve cover gasket today.
I thought it would be simple and it was not. Had to remove the wiper cowl to remove the bracket for the strut tower braces. Bolt fell into turbo inlet pipe Coil boot stuck on one plug. What a DIY! |

Brought my car to the dealer for MOT, breakfluid, update navi, and a recall driver and passender airbag.
Got the car back, no update was difficult somehow, no airbag replacment not on stock, due to delevery problems. Grrrrrr was not amused. They noticed that the valve cover was leaking, but they didn’t noticed that the oilhousing was leaking to. So need another appointment. The leaks I resolve myself. . |

Valve cover replacement
I know that I had an leaking Issue with the valve cover and oilhaus.
So I replaced the cover today, its 32 degrees here in the shadow, unfortanaly there was no shadow. Butt with some tips from the forum an YouTube movies is was a lot of work Butt is’t not very diffficult, finaly I took about 6 or 7 hours, with som breaks due to the extreem heat. The old cover was over tightend, and a lot of sealant was used, so I bought a new cover at de dealer for 470 euro’s and some extra stuff. So next job is to replace the seals from the inlet and oilpump housing. |

Long adventure of a story with getting our new E70, but finally arrived and I swapped out intake, charge pipe, and added an oil catch can. All from BMS that I purchased here from craigness23 a few weeks ago. Still need to do fluids and rear brakes, otherwise ready to roll! Previous owner ran the tires underinflated, so they are prematurely worn. That's going to be some $$$ when I need to replace!

Today I finally got rid of the EGR valve and swirl flaps (also tuned for it). Full brake job and parking brake actuator. Glow plugs and module. Rear NOX sensor. At 152k miles and still runs great!
