Had some McDonald's for lunch the other day and man, did that crap get my heart pounding. They must use SO much salt. I have high blood pressure that's controlled by meds but I really felt it after eating that. It's been a while since I had it and it will be a long while before I have it again, if ever.

Our guide has taken us to top notch, genuine eateries. I have expressed an interest in baklava a couple of times. I think he has a plan in mind - our last day is tomorrow so maybe…. Grand Bazaar, Hagia Sofia, Blue Mosque and environs.

One of the main streets in Istanbul has incredible baklava shops all in a row filled with customers from all over the middle east purchasing to carry on to their flights home.
