Lol, I got it for $175 on Callaway Pre-owned (shoutout to the tabasco dude on reddit who works at their warehouse). "Like New" and received it still in the plastic wrap with a sticker on it listing the price at $400.

I love it, tbh. Nice soft but firm face, good balance. Doesn't take up a ton of space at the top of my bag. Scoops balls up so I don't have to bend over. Etc etc. Good times.

Yeah, I think that is one major thing I am going to miss about my old putter, I can scoop the ball with it. But if the new one helps to shave a few strokes off my game then I don't really give a shit! lol.

Playing again this Sunday at the course I played at on my bday last Monday, (20th). I know the layout now and will be able to be a little more smart with my shots.

I plan on getting refitted for my 3 wood and driver. I want to change the shaft in both. The 3 wood shaft feels heavy and it weighs in at 79g. Which is heavy for a shaft. Looking to be around the 63-68g mark.

I think I played my last round last Friday for the year. Plan on taking a month off then going to Golf Galaxy during Christmas time to get fitted for a new driver shaft and 3 wood shaft. Also talk to them about buying a 5 wood or 7 wood. See if that makes any sense for my bag. I am not liking the feel of my 3 wood shaft as it feels heavy and takes a lot of "effort" to get the club face square.

I also tweaked my right chest pec muscle a few weeks ago and tried to play last Friday and I could definitely tell I was super tight with my shoulder / chest rotation. I couldn't even get the ball off the ground. I haven't hit like that in years.

Got new midsize grips for my driver, 3 wood, 4 hybrid and new irons. I will wait to get those on in the spring time.

I have an Optishot golf sim that I should setup in my garage. That would be a good way to keep the swing smooth during th3 cold months.

I think my next gear purchase will be a new putter. I can just feel that its time. I stand over the ball with my current one and it doesn't feel right.

I am very jealous that you are playing in AZ next month. What courses are you playing?

It's on my bucket list next year to take a golf trip. Maybe I will do that in the fall time.

I have played a lot more this year than last, I wonder by how much. I am going to try for shits and giggles to play next month..if it's above 50 and sunny one day, then I will go! I don't want to end the season how I played last Friday.

Do it! I love my new putter and have dramatically minimized the 3 putts. I have more feel and better control!

Would love to have a home golf sim. Just don't have the space right now. Well, since I removed all of the bamboo and trees from my back yard this past summer, I have the ability to create a small par 3 course and have a nice green to create and maintain. We will see. Still need a lot of work to do to flatten out the yard but it would be simply amazing to have a place in my back yard to chip from around 50 yards in. If I do decide to do that, I will have to document and share with you all.

Pics don't do it justice we have cleared out a lot more where the bamboo was. Now all we need to do is till the ground and level it. That will be for the spring time.

Honestly I dont know where we are playing yet and it will only be 1 round. Last year I played there and I think it was called San Tan Highlands or something like that.

I love my TaylorMade bag. Got it this summer when my 2yr old Maxfli bag took a shit and started ripping everywhere. I am going to bring my bag in during the winter months and store it in my office.

I get what you are saying. If I had all Ping, a Ping bag is a must. Thankfully, I have almost all TaylorMade clubs, minus the irons.

Hopefully I can sneak away for about 1.5hrs next month around Christmas time to be able to get fitted for new shafts. I am looking forward to making that happen to be honest.

I was watching a Sean Walsh (Good Good member) video on YouTube yesterday and he was playing at SpyGlass. Looked unbelievable! I looked up the price to play, $525 for 18 holes and cart. Crazy! To stay on site, over $1k per night for a basic room.

I do want to look at completing a 5-6 day golf trip out west with 4-5 of actual days of playing. That would be something else!

Me and a couple buddies are playing golf next Tuesday at the San Tan highlands course near Queen Creek AZ. I played there last year and had a great time.

As a side note, since this is a car forum, we are renting an F series M4 hardtop convertible. Renting through Turo for the first time. Im excited to rip around town and figure out how much luggage will fit in the trunk for my family of four.

Signed up for a golf league at my local indoor golf sim place. They use Trackman. Leagues start on 1/5/26 and go for 12 weeks. On the 29th, I am going in to get fitted for new driver, 3 wood and hybrid shafts and I hope I can find something better than what I have. I might hold out until the new TaylorMade 40D driver / woods / hybrids launch end of Jan 2026 before buying any new clubs. I heard they are unbelievable compared to the Qi35 line.

Anyone run Fujikura Ventus shafts?

It is pretty stunning and landscape I'm not used too. Also, the plants have boobs!

We are flying to Captiva, FL in July and I already have 3 golf courses lined up to play for the week we are there. Can't wait. I have been buying poker chip ball markers from each golf course I have been playing at for the past year and have collected a nice amount and I am looking at getting a wall mounted display so I can show them off in my office. Speaking of my office, I am redoing it in a Formula 1 / Golf theme.

I am heading to my fitting tomorrow morning. I am interested to see what they suggest in terms of new shafts for my driver, 3 wood and 4H. I haven't swung a club in a month and I know I will be a little rusty.
