Regarding the fog lights placement, I think it makes sense from a design perspective to move them in order to make space for those larger air intakes for the intercooler. Overall, I like the facelift. The X5 still retains its elegent appeal with these fresh and refined changes.

Thanks for the thread South!
I liek the LED tail lights and angel eyes, but that's it. Any idea what the LCI M Sport Package will look like (without camouflage)?

Isn't kind of boring how all the interiors of BMWs look similar.. I realize its "economies of scale" after a while Zzzzz... the only real different one is the Z4!!

I really like the update - but why can't we in the USA have the X5 40d that is headed to Europe (it is made in the US for goodness sake); I have a 2010 X5 35d and it is awesome so hopefully BMW will wise up in a year or so

If all BMW interiors are "similar" as is exterior styling (to a point, LED corona's, similar taillights, etc, etc.) it gives the entire brand a sort of "exclusivity" IMO. If interior (and exterior) designs were way different from each other the brand wouldn't feel as "cohesive" IMO. But, to each their own, we're all entitled to our own opinions...

I am a little disappointed with the lack of interior changes.
Also, the X5 LCI still does not have the Dynamic Performance Control (DPC) from the X6? |
