The PAGID's should be close to OE BMW as the OE BMW ones are supposedly made by PAGID.

Anyone can recommend front pads that don't squeal? Price is not an issue, but usually higher price means performance pads and they squeal. Exactly what I want to avoid. My oem M pads are 60% left, but I can't take squealing anymore. Going to throw them in the garbage bin and put some $25 pads - maybe they be quiet. Don't care for stopping power if it's going to make that horrible "school bus" coming to a stop noise.

I’ve heard that the Power Stop Z23 Evolution Sport are very good. OEM like initial bite and low dust. Co worker of mine has them on his E70 diesel and says he loves them, good price too. I’ll likely try them once it’s time.

As an FYI, Autozone has the front EBC Red on sale for $145.99 - 20% coupon MYDEAL20 resulting in a shipped price (w/o tax) of $116.79. I run these on my E55 and 4.8is. They also have the yellows at a good price. For X5M front. I did not check the price on rears.

Crappy tire brake pads (OEM Plus)
Hey. Those aren't for the X5M right? I just purchase some from Crappy Tire (Canadiantire.ca). for $110 CAD. Thats got to be a record for the M. Measured the rotors and they were 35mm including the lip. So, without a caliper to measure the brakes with, I think they are below minimum so didn't machine them, just put the pads on. And, surprisingly they work well. Probably would take a few days to break in, so I'll wait for another few days. But, the cheapest I could find new for high quality front brakes was $350 per rotor, plus $200 for a set of ebc yellow pads, which I think are the highest performing pads I could get? Plus $20 for the wear indicator, so all in about $1000 USD. Will do that next time the fronts need it. The OEM Plus pads from Canadian tire seem to be very dusty, so probably won't last long.

Interesting. I had already decided that the replacements would be F85 drilled discs so this is good news lol.

Didn't someone mention some issues with the F85 rotors? I can't remember exactly what it was, and I'll have to go hunt that thread I saw it in. Ya, not super helpful haha, but I swear I remember someone posting and a few others agreeing about a problem with putting the cross drilled ones on.

there are ways around it but most leave it as is, u have a support of calipers and also in my case I have 25mm spacer/adapter that screws right in to rotor, so they not going anywhere anytime soon...
