i forgot a picture and this thread. I'm solo this week, kids in college, wife in Europe for business.

The dog and I had a white clam pizza from Frank Pepe's. It's rates almost every year as the best pizza in the US... Wife doesn't eat seafood so it's the goto pizza when she's gone

washed down with a couple ice cold Narragansetts

Crappy, rainy day. So I figured I’d cook. I have a pot of lentil soup up now. I made roasted beets and roasted broccoli earlier. I can’t decide if I should cook chicken thighs or pork chops. It makes things so much easier during the week if I cook a bunch on the weekend.

I haven’t heard anyone mention Narragansetts in probably 30 years. Used to drive by the old brewery in Cranston all the time, although it closed when I was a kid.

tonight the dog and I had saute'd chicken breast with tortellini (store bought pasta, I thought I had some frozen homemade still...but nope) kalamata olives, capers and cherry tomatoes in a white wine and chicken stock reduction topped with shredded Asiago and fresh basil.

I bought some thick cut prosciutto that I would have diced up and thrown it in there too... but I forgot I bought it

Yep, so after my chicken and bread both went in the garbage Saturday night, I ordered pizza from a local coal fired place. It was really good. They called it Piccante - tomato sauce, mozz, ground sausage, gorgonzola, pecorino and red pepper flakes. I wasn't sure about the gorgonzola on pizza at first but it worked. And it was cooked to perfection, nice and crisp the way I like it.

I was able to loose 30 lbs and still eat. I simply used the MyPlate app to help me track what I was easing and the weight came off pretty easily.
