Not to thread jack this back into a legitimate thread instead of a pissing match, but has anyone been to the Cowboys' stadium yet? Got any real life pics?

Hey, if anyone here knows about punts, it's me. (See my "Drives:" entry)
Doesn't matter where they're trying to punt the ball, or whether you "shouldn't punt the pall down the middle of the field", the fact is that the scoreboard can and will get in the way. Either they'll have to rewrite the rules around it, or it will have to be raised to allow for more vertical kicks. In any case, it's just hilarious that it didn't occur to anyone before it actually happened. Maybe Cowboys fans don't have as much experience with punting as we Lions fans do, but one look at the design tells me: "Hey we're going to have a problem with this, more likely sooner than later..." |

We would be 12 point dogs even against USC.
We'll get respect when we field decent players, coaches, front office, and owner. Which will be never, unless Ford's dumb ass decides to either sell the team, or give the reins to Jr. So ironic how Ford was the only American auto giant who ran themselves successfully enough to have the choice to turn down government help, yet their football team is the worst organization in the history of organizations.... |

Not sure if it has been said yet, but the new "JerryTron" actually sits at 90 ft., 5ft. above the NFL minimum limit of 85 ft.
As said earlier, it shouldn't be a problem. Only poeple intentionally trying to hit it will do so. If they can't control their kicks, gtfo imo.

And as Rome pointed out yesterday, there's a reason "hangtime" has been counted since the beginning of football. They don't just try and "get the ball down field". The only thing this tv screen and this stadium is good for is the huge ego of Jerry Jones. The screen is a major distraction while watching the game, especially when watching the commentators. |

Stadium for stadium, there is no comparison. We get it, though, you're a Texans fan from Houston. I'm sorry, by the way, except for the fact that you get to watch Andre and spots of brilliance from Slaton, which would be fun. A defensive player or two aren't bad either. Besides that, I'm sorry.
