Reinstall went well. I did struggle with the gasket in the rear, which made me feel a little nervous that I was pinching the gasket. If there is any place to use RTV, it is definitely on the back!
Other than that, Car did run rough initially and stalled. Gave me a code for P00BC, and upon inspection, looks like this is somewhat weirdly typical. I posted in another thread named "P00BC code after valve cover replacement." I cleared the code and it hasn't come back since. The CCV on the back made a click when reattaching, so I knew it wasn't that. Anyways, all is well at this point :-). You definitely need to remove the cover bracket to remove the valve cover and install it after it is replaced.

If you haven't done the plugs in the last 60k or so, now would be a great time. Save it for the end so you don't risk dropping one of the valvetronic bolts into the cylinder!
