i like the trim on your vehicle, i'm been trying to find similar trim for sides and the 4.8i emblem. Also do you have something done to fenders also?

Suspension review Take Two!
KW varient 3 with EDC delete mated with Powerflex's PowerAlign Camber bolt kit & Powerflex's Front Radius Arm To Chassis Bushing. Slight binding noise when turning on an incline/decline turn. I'm taking a guess and saying this is probably from the front helper springs (the smaller springs below the springs). No vibrations. and handling... boy oh boy the handling is on point! The truck feels more like one of my previous sports cars now. Turning feedback is crisp and sharp. From lower rim lip to fender I'm measuring 26" all around. Considering going alittle lower. Since going from my previous setup to this it's not going to be anything but rave reviews. The HR 2" drop springs really made the truck feel horrible. I was told I looked like a boat on water @ highway speeds and it definitely felt like it. The truck feels amazing now. Appreciate the feedback and help M3Guy! I'll have pics soon. ps... M3Guy the rear shocks are yours numbered?

Glad you like the setup! Those are the helper springs you are hearing so no stress on that and yes the rebound adjustment at the bottom is numbered on mine.

Can't read the numbers any more lol. Specs below.
Front: Height - 30 inches from ground to bottom of fender Rebound - 6 clicks from full closed Compression - 6 clicks from full closed. This should be one full turn of the adjuster from closed. If it's not just do one full turn. Rear: Height - 30 inches from ground to bottom of fender Rebound - 8 clicks from full closed Compression - 6 clicks from full closed. This should be one full turn of the adjuster from closed. If it's not just do one full turn. Remember these setting are from the shock set full stiff/closed then working backwards as per KW's directions. How I count the clicks is go full closed to where it won't turn anymore. Then I go back until it rests at the first click. If you hold the adjuster gently and turn slowly you will be able to tell. That is my zero. Then I count from there. |

I went with your settings and my numbers showing was 2. Was wondering why you were telling me clicks and not the number after I got the suspension, lol.

not to be too pedantic, but the H in NVH is not 'Handling' ... it's 'Harshness'.

-2010 X5M with H&R 1.2 and 22" ADV wheels: 22x10.5 front, 22x12 rear (flush fitment, no spacers)
-Adjustable rear (via drop links) on factory EDC suspension air ride -No noises or vibrations. -Ride quality is very OEM like, but handling is more crisp with less body roll. -Great low cost upgrade for around $300. -Improved stance and handling. -Feels more M-like. |

Time to wake up this thread. Where are you guys installing the camber bolts? I know the e53 x5 is on the strut but the e70 suspension is different?
