That looks really good, how does it feel? can you still feel the heated wheel enough?

Yes I had to stitch it on, but it's super easy to do it. It feels great because it's thicker now. I did not install it to test the heating yet. I guess it will need a little more time for the heating. The material feels good quality but only the time can tell. It doesn't shift because fits real snug over the steering wheel and there is double side tape in the kit. When I first ordered, they send me cover that did not fit. It was a little short on the diameter to stitch and close the gap. I send them picture and they asked me to measure the 12 o'clock position diameter and mine was 110mm. The initial cover was around 108-9mm so it left me with a gap no matter how much I was trying to stretch the "leather" to close it. Once they knew my size, took them about 10 days to deliver another one ( shipped from China ). The second cover fitted like a glove. It does need some stretching, but this is how it has to be. I was amazed by the result. Next time I will check the 12clock position and let them know before I order it. This steering wheel is going to replace my basic ( stupid ugly ) wheel and I was not in rush at all so I did not care of the wrong size cover and the slow down. They sent all needed to do the job in the kit. Their instructions are for install while the wheel is on the car and just use plastic pry tools to push the leather under the panels.I took it apart to do the carbon wrap so it was easy to do it this way. I hope I can find some time and install it this weekend. I don't want to promote any product or seller, because you may have different experience:
-- Your wife beats you because the steering wheel was not in the car when she needed the vehicle. -- Stab yourself with the needle and bleed to death. -- You don't have common sense to follow the instructions... and many more reasons. FYI if you don't like it or you made a mistake, you can always remove the yarn and start over again. It's just time consuming. No one said, you have to do it in a one day ( except your wife that still needs the car ). I will soon order another 2 kits for my e90 and e92. Nothing wrong with the wheels, just like the beefier feel ( that's what she said ) |

My engine cover is slightly damaged at the front, not sure how, but it looks like it was sliced with a razor blade at some point. Also, the silver was stained a yellowish as I think it succumbed to the heat that used to be under the hood. More than anything, I was bored and until I come up with a new solution and against sophisticated rednecks suggestions, I painted this and threw it back on.

Finally got the balls to pull off the front bumper orange reflector lights, I was paranoid about breaking something, and installed the clear lights. Love it!

The only thing I don't like about them is they cover up the lights in the rear footwells. Thought about taking them to an aphosltery shop and getting "windows" for the lights sewn in. |

Tinted the headlights and tails with some LaminX film. The stuff is self healing and thick. Pain in the ass to get right. Not sure if I'll keep it or not. For right now, I paid for it, will rock it for awhile...
I got it in the lightest color available... |

Switched out the 20" winter wheels/tires for the 22" summer shoes...
Maybe we'll actually get some summer weather here now
