ordering soon. opinion needed.
hi guys,
need a quick opinion from u guys. i'm placing an order on a 2011 soon, but trying to decide between the 35i & 50i. since BMW hasn't updated the 2011 Xs build info on the site yet so i'm just doing my rough calculation on the side. since this will be a family car so the extra power on the 50i will be a plus, when i drive it. the 35i is good enough in daily use. my question is this. if we decide on the 35i, we'll be ordering the M Sport Package. overall it just looks better by eliminating the unpainted plastic trims. if we go for the 50i, then we'll just go with the Sport Activity Package to save the cost which offsets the better engine. so, in ur opinion, would u go with the 35i for the looker, or the 50i for the performer? i know this is a very subjective question but i would like to hear some feedback on the owner. |

Here's my two cents worth (or as the case may be $7,450.00 w/333 wheels). I also realized that the M-sport would eliminate the "rubber-look" edging. Been trying to convince myself of that daily that this was the right choice... not that that would do any good with an 18th week build. If I wasn't about to hog around some "sporty-cars" (-4,000 gross/wt)... I'd of done a 35i (instead of a 50i) without M-sport. All about image, isn't it.
