Arm pulls above door - do we not have them?
I'm referring to the arm pull handle things along the top of the interior of the car where you can pull it down and hold it with your hand. I have no idea what its called. I don't have it my car and was wondering if they forgot to install them or do they not come on our cars? I think its weird that I told have them. Anyone know what i'm talking about?

If you are talking about the handles that often hang from the roof or front pillar, I think they want both hands on the steering wheel. I added them on my 4Runner but they were drilled and capped so it was easy. They aren't on my passenger side of my X6 either. My Volvo XC90 has them for ease of entry, I guess BMW didn't think they were necessary.

My X5 had them and they were real useful when I had to haul my mother-in-law, she could grab them and help herself in.
I wish BMW would have included these and kept the stupid running boards, if my wife ruins one more pair of slacks on the running boards this car may be toast. |
