If it's intended, why would they put a breather valve and one side and not the other? 🤔 |

Any updates? I'll be doing VSS on my N63 in July and would love to install these at the same time. If not available I'll have to get the regular PCV stuff from BMW.

I think Jason is working on mock ups, to see what it would take to make them, then we can sell the parts they make, designed, and you can get the rest of the parts on AMazon, making it low cost for all, but enough to cover their time.

Thanks so much Sophisticated Redneck!
Bought all of the crap listed on page 1, waiting for these illusive CNC’d parts! Been a while; any progress or eta update? Sounds like a number of us are holding off until we learn more. Just want to make sure it’s still going to be a reality, or if something changed along the way? Thanks for the effort on this! |

Hello can someone please give me some guidance? My e70 x5m is in desperate need of a catch can. I know the s63 (non tu) has the connecting tube to each bank and I don’t know if that needs to be accommodated for this setup. I saw that one of the memebers sell a kit but it doesn’t seem it’s ready yet? If it is I’d love to buy it. I saw on a different thread they connected the two banks directly to each other and then ran a dual port can rather than a three port, and they did not vent back to the intake. Not sure if that’s the better setup for the s63. Please help as this post mentions the s63 but doesn’t give a definite answer on what to do. If any has done it and can post pictures I’d greatly appreciate it. Thank you

Talked w/@sophisticated Redneck this week - he is making progress. He is finishing up the final intakes, (ran out of 3D printing plastic - has to buy some more in bulk). He is close to fully refined on the PCV catch cans - and expects to get to those after the final intakes - so I'd give it a few weeks as I understand he is losing money on the intakes w/all the prototyping/etc.., so he is self-funding the rest.
Not an ideal answer, but there is progress! (I've seen pics). |

punisher12b I have since followed this post as much as I can since it is a different motor in the thread and it does work, smoking has stopped and the cans are collecting oil, however I had to use different check valves as I tried tap & die the ones he linked and could not successfully do it, I have purchased 3 different check valves and all of them even with adjusting or changing/cutting springs it always reads the exact same vacuum psi of ~12-15 and it whistles just like he said. I’m not sure if maybe there is a leak or something along the way as non of the check valves make any difference nor does the adjustments and I’m totally lost as to what to do from here. Followed the guide to a T as much as I could.
