Fear-rari - 3 races, 3 team order interferences.
Mercedes - 3 races, 3 One-Two finishes.

Get it together Ferrari. This is embarrassing.
Completely agree. What the heck was that strategy? They gave LEC no shot. There needs to be some changes and fast. With the only cars that can seriously contend with Mercedes on a regular basis, Ferrari needs to execute and plan much more efficiently.

On the other hand, it really does show just how well run Mercedes is and of course how talented their drivers are. The execution is always there.

Alexander Albon, very well done! Although to be honest I would have liked to see a Haas in the points.

And finally, it's good to see both Ricciardo and Gasly finding more pace in their cars. For Gasly though it might already be too late -- Red Bull's attention span is notoriously short.

EDIT: All that chatter about this race being a DRS passing feast really didn't materialize. Not sure why not.
All the chatter was all because of the long straight. But the cars were never "close" enough to be in DRS range.

Felt like the race was all about tire management and "undercut"-"react to undercut".

To be honest, this race was close to Valencia boring. I can barely stay awake when the race started at 11:10pm over here at west coast.

Gasly was way off the pace, at least half a second per lap, but mostly more. RB should put Albon in that car ASAP.

As for the race, it was quite boring.

Ferrari will be their biggest enemy this year, they are nowhere with a supposedly fastest car on the grid. I feel for Leclerc, and if I was Ferrari I would treat him better, as he may just decide to jump ship. He would be able to pick and choose a potential new team.

And then we have ol' Kvyat back to his old tricks again, taking out 2 cars in one go.

Hopefully the next race is a bit more exciting.

It must be extremely difficult for my man Daniel to sit on the grid and realise that if everything goes absolutely perfectly for him the best he can do is 7th!

Don't think I'm insane here but I believe RIC may actually win a race this year. I see this year for RIC at Renault as I see HAM in his first year at Mercedes AMG. Go back and examine that season and it should give you a bit of hope.

Pls don't think I'm insane but that's how I see it.

It's no surprise that Ferrari made LEC swap with VET. VET has, in his contract, #1 status and the team has to do everything to maximise his points for the year.

I fully expect the orders to continue for the whole year if not for the remainder of VETs contract.

The only way LEC will get away with it is to be at least 0.5 sec faster per lap, qualify higher and best of all, have another car behind him and infront of VET. Only then will LEC out score VET this year.

on the flip side, Ferrari have found another way to destroy their own chances of a championship this year. LOL.

Is it also in the contract that LEC has to qualify slower? If he were faster, he'd be ahead. Simple as that. Ferrari just wasn't up to challenging Mercedes, no matter the strategy.

Exactly.

LEC passed him on the track anyway.

Ferrari = Political Party
Mercedes = Racing Team

Get Max the Ferrari seat and believe me: he will kick some Mercedes butt. They'll be scared of Mad Max for sure.
Max/Charles would be the perfect driver combo.

You’re insane!

I get what you’re saying but I think you’re over estimating the Renault by a long shot. I truly believe Daniel is a racer but this car is nothing like the AMG or what Renault was like back in the early 80’s.

I can picture Daniel “doing a Prost” and getting into shit about the lack of development of the POS car.

Ferrari doesn't care about the constructor's championship and has not cared for a long time. They get a big check from F1 just for being Ferrari. Their full focus is the WDC.

I'd be very surprised to see a Renault win a race this year. I like RIC just fine but the car is not fast enough. Best of the rest is the best they can do, with maybe a 4th place finish in a fluke situation -- like both Ferraris and a Red Bull being taken out before the first turn...

1- Where are you born ? And what is your nationality ?
2- How many ( % ) of taxes do you pay on your yearly income in the Netherlands ?

The only Dutch thing about Max is his F1 driver license , that's what Sophie Kumpen said ( Max mom )
And that's not silly , but financial speculation . And personal (if I had the chance) I would do the same
