I have 30k on this oil changing it around 5 to 8k each time. Was running Castro and Pennzoil before.

Should I put in a bit less oil, to make up for the 1.5 cans of Mos2? The cans are 10oz, so I would be putting 15oz extra fluid, and dont wan't to cause any damage.

I did use touch less oil when I used the additive. Verify by checking that the oil level in vehicle info is at max then you're all set.

Like Pdx said, do put in just a touch less. I would only add 7.5 liters of oil (if you have the N63 as it takes 8 liters, if you have a different engine you will need to find how much it takes to fill) . Put in 3 Liters of oil first, then dump the 1.5 cans of mos2 into the 5 liter oil bottle that only has 2 liters of oil left in it and shake it up and mix it, then poor that in your engine. Follow it up with the remaining 2.5 Liters of Oil and go for a drive. You should be dead on or just need to add in a bit to top it off once the car finally reads the oil level. #BMW-PLEASE-BRING-BACK-THE-DIPSTICK

Thank you for the advice, I am a bit confused by the bmw oil level report. Is "max" the max the engine can take or is it full proof so people dont over fill the engine and "max" just means normal level.

N55 for me, so probably .5 liters less of oil. Is it a must to mix it before putting in engine?

Nope not a must at all, just me being anal about it. Do put in about 4 liters first in the Engine before pouring in the Mos2 though

Did the oil change today, first impression is that car runs smoother, but I will have to see how it is in the next few days to make sure it's not a placebo. Thanks to everyone that helped me!

How many quarts of oil for the e70 x5m? I’m going to switch to the Liqui Moli 5-40 with the additive.

8.5 liters so just adjust a bit for the volume of the additive.
