Downpipes for 2014 X6 5.0
I want to add downpipes for my 2014 X6 5.0. I'm having trouble finding an option with the correct connection method. Originally I was going with Racing Dynamics but they have the flowing note
https://www.racdyn-usa.com/PROD/130+10+63+220.html Special notice! BMW made 2 different downpipe connections: flange and slip fit. Before purchasing you need to verify which connection you have. Look underneath your car where the downpipe connects to the exhaust and see if you have a bolt together flange or slip fit with compression clamp. This model is for bolt together flange connection. After checking with my shop my vehicle has the slip fit connection. Does anyone know of a manufacturer that has the nessary slip fit connection? I know there are threads on here where people have gutted the original pipes but that's a last resort for me. Thanks for the help. |

This forum https://www.xbimmers.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=94 will be a better place for your question. Also the X5 shares many parts with the X6, and I've often found more info in the X5 forum for my queries. |
