New to me 2008 X5 3.0si
Greetings everyone. I recently came into possession of a 2008 X5 3.0si for a really low price. Mileage is average but the price was the same as what i was finding for E53's of the same quality and mileage. This is my first X5 but is my 4th Bimmer (Convertible E36, E39, & E38). Any suggestions or tips with regards to the appearance. I am thinking about some different wheels, but beyond that not sure what else I might do with her.

Looks good, welcome to the E70 club!
If you want to really enhance the appearance, I would get some OEM 20" wheels, style 214, though you will want to add the fender flares if you go that route, otherwise the 20's will poke too much. Another suggestion to modernize it - swapping the rear lights with the LCI LED lights from the 2011-2013 models. Otherwise, just drive and enjoy. Black isn't usually my 1st color choice, but I like black on the pre-LCI models (2007-2010) since the bumpers are black, and on your X5 it blends in nicely. On non-black cars, the black bumpers really date the vehicle, IMO. |
