LED Fog Lights
Hey Guys. Just purchased my 2013 35i and I'm looking to upgrade the fog lights bulbs from stock. I searched and didn't find too many successful threads in regards to this. I found these from online and they claim to be error free as they come with resistors and cancellers.
https://bimmian.com/Accessories-for-...s/?veh=70#tabs My concern is the flickering that can happen during startup. Will I still get this or will it have to be coded out? Do you think these would work or would I save the headache by just getting a bright white Halogen bulb instead? I also wanted to mention that I have the M Sport Package, but I think it is all fairly similar, just different bulb locations. Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks, |

I went ahead and bought the Carly For BMW OBDII coding adapter so I won't have to worry about flickering or bulb errors. With that being said, would I still need load resistors for the LED fog lights or are they not necessary since I'll be coding?

If the H11 LED bulbs come resistors, they should not throw any error codes at all. With that being said, even with resistors and no error codes, your lights will always flicker on cold startup as the computer does the bulb check as well as during while you're driving when it does the warm check. The only way to avoid this is coding. I'm installing H11's without any resistors and coding via BMW Carly App. I will let you know how it turns out.
