X5M Vent Gauge
I was going to purchase a P3 Vent Gauge for my 2012 X5M and then found this one by Awron through Inside Performance. It's about twice the price of the P3 at $812.50, but certainly looks a lot nicer. Almost appears to have an original feel to it, versus the somewhat archaic look of the P3. Has anyone purchased and installed this unit or heard any feedback on it? Thanks

For that price why not just get the JB4 and hook up the bluetooth kit to it ... get a tune and everything that vent gauge will show on your phone

I have this unit and love it. Is it pricey? Yes but it laps the P3! The display/fit is far better than the P3, (the P3 looks like a cheap after thought), the display looks OEM. The only negative would be the fact that the display does not dim with the dash control. Otherwise it is integrated with the steering wheel buttons and very intuitive to use.
If you're willing to spend the money you will not be disappointed. |

The way I see it:
positives: it looks cool it shows useful info can be controlled thru steering wheel buttons negatives: blocks central air vent doesn't deem additional gadget to keep u eyes of the road way too expensive (but can be picked little cheaper during holidays ) as for P3, I had one for little over a year and didn't find it very useful for me, ended up selling it. good luck
