Intermittent Cylinder 1 Misfire
I am receiving an intermittent cylinder 1 misfire. It misses at higher RPM, then throws the code, and then will reset once cleared. I am going to try the coil pack, the plugs were done within the last 3,000 miles. I may replace the cylinder 1 plug just because I am there, and I am not sure if the misfire may be from it.
I have two different part numbers for Bosch coil packs on rock auto. BOSCH 0221504470 BOSCH 00044 I see the top number does list (00044) by it, but the price is different. Did BMW or Bosch make an updated coil pack, or are these the same part, and I should buy the cheaper one?

or you can just upgrade all you coils and call it a day. If you continue to have problems it may be spark plug or injector related. |
