Powerstop Z23 Carbon Fiber and Ceramic Compound Front: Z231429 Rear: Z23919B bmwofsouthatlanta is the cheapest I've seen for the F85 rotors and shipping isn't bad either.

I used to use Slotted/Cross-drilled rotors from Brake Performance on my previous X5 and they were great, unfortunately they don't make them for X5M. I also used to use Akebono brake pads, whch were great as well, same story not for X5M |

one more question jandref321 is there a reason u went with Z23 instead of Z16 or Z17, looks like Z23 more performance and the other 2 are more clean.
Also do u know if those sensors are as good as OEM? Thank you! |

Thanks for the info guys.
I think pairing the low dust pads + F85 rotors will be my next move

If i am reading this correctly, one of the mounting screws matches up, but not the other. The extra safety to hold it in place is the lugs...? Any other feedback from people with low dust pads? I don't want to sacrifice 'too much' stopping power

You'll need 20 inch wheels (or certain 19s), as well as a new calipers, etc.

Sorry to bring up a old post, but anyone have any problems with the rear hub being 72.5 and the f85 being 74? i know it's just 1.5mm but looking into it, seems like it hasnt been a issue for anyone?
From what i'm reading the X5m e70 and X6m e71 both have rear 72.5 center hub bores, and the brakes for the f85/f86 are 74, just want to make sure i have all the parts necessary. Which pads have you guys come to like the most with the F85 rotors? E70? or F85? or Aftermarket? |
