LUX H8 180 angel eyes On my e71.... anyone experience this?
Lux us a great company with a great product. Order these a few days ago... shipping was very fast... lux has responded to all my emails but I would like to know if anyone else had/has this problem with their led angel eyes.
The outter ring is (barley) half white and for some reason the other half (of the same ring) is yellow. Were they installed wrong? I don't know how it would be since it's simple plug and play. Confused LUX H8 180 angel eyesface* Will post pics in a few (won't upload from my phone) |

Never heard of that issue? My gripe with LUX is the outer rings look decent while the inners look like a blob of light, the halo hardly recognizable. But that's not just LUX, but any LED bulb mated to the halogen/pre-LCI corona.
Good luck sorting that out. |

I didn't have any issues either. Yes, some people complain that both rings aren't as clearly defined as on later OEM versions, but I don't have any complaints

Interested in knowing how this look as well, have been holding off since I couldnt find any pics online. If anyone could post a pic of theirs, that would be much appreciated, thanks! Also, any place to purchase in Canada? TIA!

here are some pics I just took... I know you are suppose to step a few feet back and look at the lights as well. You can still see the yellow no matter how far you stand. My camera doesn't take clear pics from afar.

It almost looks as if they are not twisted into place correctly and not focusing the light right. I would double check the install 1 more time to make sure the 3 tabs are in place correct and then twisted into place around 1/5 of a turn till snug.

Nope. Wanted to, but couldn't get an answer as to which brand wouldn't give me issues/error codes afterwards.

Take them out of the sockets and light 'em up. If the LED's are properly indexed, then maybe it's the LED itself that's somehow dimmer.
PS: Is your gf still talking to you? I don't have big hands and was dripping blood all over the engine compartment putting those damn bulbs on
