1st Lieutenant and Captain rank insignia

Hello

I'm a newcomer, just about to purchase a M240i. Great forum, thanks.

I noticed that you use US military rank designators to denote a person's post count.

The symbols for 1st Lieutenant and Captain are incorrect. They should be a single silver bar and two bars respectively. See the pic below.

Sorry to be a pedant, but I'm ex military...

I'm retired military.......does it really matter? No offense but it's not like those ranks mean anything in this forum.

It's not like I'm kissing the General's ass like in real life...........

Yes, I know...it is all a bit silly really, but hey, why use the proper ones for all the other ranks?

Many of us here where in the military. And yes, these ranks don't means shit. I think half of my promotions came from trolling the liberals in the political forum here.
