$2000 for tips, some piping and resonators...I've already bought about $200 in parts will make the same thing while also adding an x-pipe, something the X_M doesn't have yet the F10 M5's do.

I know Supersprint makes an X-pipe for the X5M in 2 different diameters. I'm just trying to get some different ideas before I start mine. Thanks for your help!

I bought a generic 3" x-pipe for $25...there's nothing magical about them, so why pay more. I haven't installed anything yet, but I've got a little drone now at low rpm+high gear due to catless downpipes. F10 M5's have an x-pipe as do most full X5M aftermarket exhaust systems, I can only assume it's for a reason, so I'm adding one regardless...I'm thinking I might do a Magnaflow resonator (which is internally x-piped instead of the bare x-pipe) or little resonators like Eisenmann/Fabspeed/Challenge does to fight off droning. I'm not expecting much in gains, I just wanna hear the turbos like in some YouTube videos I've found but see if I can avoid drone as well.

The guy on the forum that has his white X5 M in the youtube video said there was no drone accept above 85 mph there was a VERY small amount. That Eisenmann in your picture is for the f85 not e70 and is more money than the Supercup . Not to mention I don't think IMO it sounds as good as the Fabspeed.

I'm just saying I don't see why anyone would pay $1000 plus for something so simple. I showed a friend these pics, asked what he thought it'd cost and he LOL'd when I said what companies are asking for this. It's laughable what companies charge for that ///M tax.
