Thanks for posting the exhaust clip. I can't believe there isn't a good aftermarket exhaust option for the x5 50i. I'd prefer buying a bolt on as opposed to having something fab'd, but your set up seems to have worked out well.

I might remove the cats in a few weeks. what's interesting if you look up stream approximately right underneath where the front passengers would sit... there what appears to be two catalytic convertors. they are located right after the down pipe coming from the headers... what's interesting is the left side is shorter in length then the right side by about a foot. I am trying to figure out what these are and why they are of different lengths. You would think that they should be of equal size to keep pressure on both the right and left exhaust.

Hey im from toronto too, ive been to hot rod scotts to do high flow cats, u should also check out the quick muffler show at glencairn and dufferin, they did my flowmasters for my 4.8i
We should have a little meet up sometime if youd like |
