I do not seem to have any good shots of the rear in my gallery. This car will likely be back here soon so I would be glad to take some pictures if you are looking to see something specific!
Thanks everyone!

The rear is set up for pictures only - that thing would not be drivable with lowering links set that low. The front is about right. The 1.2 kit looks good on the front.

Actually, the rear bump stops were trimmed to make for a more comfortable ride in the rear, so this car has been driven with the rear links set that low without rubbing issues.

GMP, can you elaborate on the bump stop trimming? such as how much was trimmed off? from the top or the bottom? Also does the trimming effect bump stop functionality?

But yes, please tell us how trimming the bump stops addresses this issue.

Unfortunately, I do not have pictures of the ones that we trimmed, but there is an example of what they look like below (image is not an X5/X6 stop). They have "ridges" and we trimmed one ridge off of each side. We have done this on two X6 models with positive results. Example of what they look like: |

As far as how much to trim, I would just say try until you get to a point that is comfortable for you and your desired ride height. Worst case, it is an inexpensive part to replace. There are also shorter bump stops available out there, but likely nothing for the X5/X6. |

All you do is slice off some of the foam bump stop, there really is not anything more to it. |
