FEELER: Selling 2011 X5M stock wheels 20 inch
All, I will be getting new wheels soon for my X5M and these stock wheels will have to go. Please note that I bought this car pre-owned. The person that owned it prior to me looks like they had a hard time missing curbs. Every wheel has some rash to it. Now I can get them fixed and refinished. I don't know exact price , but I can do it at an extra cost for those willing. As is and because these wheels have damage and no other damage by me since ownership. They are not cracked, bent, etc. just curb rash and some caked on brake dust from not being cleaned like I would of done in a weekly basis . I am not sure what the going price is for these wheels. Lets start at 750 without them refinished. If you want them refinished that can worked out and I get you a price. This does not include shipping. I do not use Paypal, but if that is what you want to do we can work if it. That percentage that Paypal incorporates would be included in final price from the buyers end. No pics right now because we just had 2 feet of snow the last 3 days so they are dirty as can be. Thanks again and I'm open. I have sold a number of high priced items and I am a straight shooter and easy to work with from those that have bought from me. Please feel free to reach out to others on the forum that know me. Thanks again! I would be looking most likely at taking these off the first week of march. I need the new wheels to come in before I take these off. Andrew |

To help put repair costs in perspective, I've had 20" and 22" wheels repaired of curb rashes and powder coated for $100-125. These are prices in Northern California.
Good luck with the sale OP! |

Thanks Die wolf. I couldn't remember the number my rep gave hence why i didn't put it Down to miss quote. Those numbers seem to be accurate for what I got as well.

I forgot to mention that I would include the bolt that are currently on the car. shipping is a whole different animal and if anyone has ever shipped wheels it can be a PITA. Luckily, with my bad experience from buying wheels over the years and the shipping companies ruining them. I will do the protection myself and then bring them and the shipping company can add additional protection.
I shipped a SC kit to Eastern Europe (went to NJ first I believe). The forum member that bought could tell you how well I packaged and protected everything. Took me a weekend, but it's worth it for both parties. |

No problem man, I only know since I was recently in a similar situation. Another bit of info was provided to me by FedEx when getting shipping quotes for my stock 20" wheels WITH tire in January:
California to Florida: $600 California to NY: $500 California to anywhere in between: At least $300 Hope this helps too! |

Good to know! Thanks.
These need to be gone as soon as I get my wheels from VELOS!! Just in time to send them to get refinished at your designated shop and have a brand new set of shoes for the summer. |

As of now it's wheels only. As I mentioned in my post I have a new set of wheels coming. I am using my tires and TPMS as of now.
Not sure on fitment that is something to look into on the forums. |

All aftermarket wheels for X5M I found were 21-22s with very limited tire options so I want to upgrade wheels in 20s but I really couldn't find much... If don't mind, can you share what you're getting?

I'm getting the new wheel Velos is coming out with in a monoblock 20. I did not want another set of wheels and with the Brembo BBK I need something to clear and a custom 20 seemed to be the best option for me. I have too many set of wheels as it is and not enough room to store. I can't run a 22 in the winter so this was the route for now.

You would either need an adaptor or you can get the rear hubs bored out typically $50-75/wheel. The fronts fit fine but the rears are 72.1mm and regular X5s are 74.5mm (roughly) I have had a set of wheels bored out to fit my wifes X5d and i just sent them to a wheel repair shop they said they do it quite a bit and i havent had any issues. You could also get a spacer/adapter from 1 or 2 companies if i recall right.

Just a quick update to those that inquired. My other wheels are about another 2 weeks out.
So hopefully they get done a little sooner than that. |
