Engine idle noise
Wondering if I have an hpfp issue - every once in a while (like once every 2 wks) the engine does this weird idle thing after start up. The engine autorevs to about 2500 and then falls to down to idle. This happens 6 or 7 times, then stops. The car drives fine (as far as I can tell) and power delivery seems fine.
Of note, this started happening after I took it to the dealer and a fuel tank vaccuum valve was replaced. Should i be worried?

I've got the same thing, it's only happened 3 or 4 times in the 3 months I've owned it.

no, the car does not shake. i feel a loss of power, but that could just be subjective for me. i'm taking it in today for it's first service indicator check. I will address this plus I'm also disappointed with the paint quality on the hood.
Overall, it's disappointing that the build quality/reliability on this $62K SUV is worse than my $38K 328i, which has just been fantastic.
