Problem with setting up my Comfort Access
Hi guys, I have a 2009 x6 that has comfort access.
My door still opens if i come to the car and touch the handle, And until yesterday, everytime i go in the car and turn it on, the seats and steering wheel will adjust accordingly. Today when i entered the car for some reason the seats and steering wheel did not react. I tried re memory my seat m1. and turned the car on and off, locked and unlocked using the remote, and actually took the car out the whole day. I tried going to the idrive, but cant seem to find the menu where we can change these settings. It would be much appreciated if anybody here could teach me how to get the steering wheel and seats moving again, as i really love this option. Thanks so much guys. |

I had a similar problem, i sent my car in with both keys for reprogramming. Although the SA said that the key battery might have been low, and that you need to put it into the car to recharge...not too sure. ill get my car back on tuesday.

I would try driving with the fob in the dash to re-sync the settings between the car and fob. Also, comfort access fobs use regular batteries and are not rechargable.

For the 2009 iDrive, go to settings --> vehicle --> door locks --> activate seating position option.
Also if you receive Key Fob battery low message in dash make sure to change the battery of the key fob. |
