Bmw e70 X5 3.0sd 2009 egr pressure convertor

So the bmw in question is 3.0sd 2009 e70 so far I have changed throttle body, and map sensor. I have found the egr pressure converter it's hanging loosely. There are no pipes connected to it. The one that goes to the egr I believe it is has a screw in it which I have taken out and tried to connect it a new converter is on the way but I don't know what pipe connects to the other part as I can't find any more pipes hanging out.

The symptoms I have faced.
No power for the first 2.5k ish in revs
Loss of power won't go over 50-60
That one fixed it self when I changed the battery
But the low power still happens sometimes for 2.5k
And a new fault is keeps cutting out when accelerate a bit harder than normal
