I'm trying to figure out my LED Adaptive Headlight dilemma in the X5M...not sure if it has something to do with the FRM3?...there hasn't been much advice on here lately with all the newbs
Picking up a Cadillac Escalade today if anyone wants to buy the Hummer...The X5 50i M Sport may also be going up for sale soon if anyone is interested

I get bored with cars quickly lol, the Hummer H3's inline 5 has lots of torque but it lacks the power of my old H2...at least my neighbors son got himself a cool MCB Jeep

You gotta go though a lot of posts on the LED conversion to find it, but the short story is to replace the FRM with a new one from the dealer. MAKE SURE IT HAS THE ORANGE DOT STICKER ON IT!), then it has to be coded by autologic or a similar system by an independent BMW repair shop. BMW will not be able to code it for you (I tried, they failed). I know this is a pain in the a--, but once its done, you will love them.
Good on you for giving the jeep to your neighbors kid! That is an awesome thing to do. I know he will be thrilled. |

Just picked up a new toy since the X5M will be napping in the garage till spring time... for the money we spend on winter wheels and tires, my advice is keep your X5's in the garage and spend the money on something you don't care about driving into pot holes, salted roads and other drivers who are clueless how to drive in snow
Just don't go crazy like I do and sink a lot of money into a pos lol...a few before and after pics

She's running great. Just hit 29,000 miles. Tune is on, reflectors, grills and tint are done. Just need to do something with the exhaust system. Springs are on the way. Will probably run 15 & 20 mm (maybe 25) spacers with stock wheels. |

I want to do the same to mine, have it in the garage for little over a month now but didn't have a chance to wash it prior and my access to that garage is little bit complicated (have to make visit arrangements ) will try to take it out one of this days to wash it and snap couple of pictures! maybe we can finally get together this year
