Where are my MAF and O2 Sensors?
Hi there , (2009 X6 35i N54)
Not long ago , I scanned my car for codes and got a 29FE. (Fuel Sensor) Replaced the fuel sensor and the code went away. I noticed that when I have my ignition on with my scanner plugged in , my check engine light is on. (Only in ignition mode) Reading online , others suggest that it has something to do with the MAP and O2 sensors potentially being faulty and or needing to be replaced. I'm asking because I cannot find it myself , but where are the MAP and 02 sensors located? Car is stock , nothing done to it. Previous owner didn't keep up with the maintenance (what else is new?) Also , any recommendations for lifts and or jacks suitable for the X6 that someone might like to point me to? I'd love to start getting more involved with working on my car , rather than taking it into a shop or god forbid the BMW center lol Thank you so much - Dan. I'm not sure about the 3.5 v6 engine, but I have thr s63 4.4 V8 and it does not at MAF (mass airflow sensors)
As for lifts, there are some nice, affordable scissor lifts that have wheels/mobile |
