OK, I've got resolution on this. I took my baby to the doctor(indy repair) and the readout recommended first replacing the turbo pressure sensor. In addition, the MAP sensor was replaced and voila..... she's purring again!!! Full power.
So after all that worry, not a fuel issue. Indy repair shop is Exclusively Bimmers in Mount Pleasant, SC. Job well done.
