Naw, an f-150 has too little payload to tow much more than an x5/6 as most people buy them. You have to buy an f-250/350 to get sufficient payload to be an actual upgrade. About the max you can tow in the real world with an f-150 is about 7-8k before you overload the trucks payload with tongue weight. For a trailer in the 6k range load the better brakes, efficiency, power, and handling makes the x5 a better tow vehicle.
