Haven't seen any Akrapovic systems lately but if you can find one, get it. So light and great quality.
Gixxer definitely had some HP upgrades (intake, dp's, Akra exhaust, pure turbos, tune, I believe coils and plugs). I think Dynamic Auto Tune in Charlotte did most of his dyno work and tuning.
I just have ECU bench flashed and exhaust. Surprisingly biggest feel difference was sprint booster. Gixxer's felt lazy compared to mine until he took my sprint booster and put in his. He definitely had more top end with bigger turbos, pulled longer but initial launch was similar. His had pretty aggressive sound with dp's also.
