Yea, I have looked into them and Ultra Racing makes one which I find appealing. The issue is I have is I hate having to remove items every time I need to work on my car, ex the OEM E70 air box to do anything to the top of the motor, and this has lead me to REMOVE the aftermarket strut braces on my other vehicles. However this brace seems to sit fairly high and hugs the engine bay partitions so it may not be an issue. With all the maintenance I am doing on the M57 I hope it will be pretty reliable.

They make them for other BMWs but now ours since the market is small.
Could you make this? I would be very interested!
Gotcha, I am aware of those and have ran them on my other BMWs. Unfortunately I don't have the means to easily make something like that, your best bet is to find a pre-existing scoop that has an applicable design and then retrofit it to your vehicle.
