The plan that some of us bought a few years ago was the easy street exclusionary plan (lists items not covered, and is even better than the BMW platinum plan). Already paid for itself (covered 100% of leaky valve cover gaskets, leaky turbo coolant lines failed and oil level sensor, all done at my BMW dealer).

Yours is the first street plan, and it’s an inclusionary plan (meaning only items in the list are covered). I’m afraid you didn’t do your due diligence and paid $$ for a very limited plan. Route 66s stopped offering the easy street for X’s sometime in 2016. They’re covering what’s in the contract, so throwing shade at them is unwarranted IMO.
