From the video's I've watched (there's one on you tube with BMW designer test driving X6 M) they are going to essentially do a "Dinan tune" and crank the engine up to 500 HP. For 2010 BMW is sourcing the engine for 2010 Lotus at 500hp. it's all the same TT8 that's in the current X6 50i. With a little software tweaking you can get the current TT8 to produce 500HP and 520 lb ft torque.
