I don't think anyone really has been ripping on the car in this thread - it's entirely about how badly the situation was handled. Unfortunately, you can't buy a car from a manufacturer if you know the service is going to be terrible, even if the car is great...just too much risk if/when something goes wrong.
OP, glad this is soon to be a thing of the past for you!
