I'm actually in Marketing. But you work with enough developers, and when the majority of your friends and people you hang out with work in IT and/or are programmers, you tend to pick up their lingo. Especially for a marketing guy, being able to speak the language of my clients and customers, as well as my vendors and developers is a MUST.
Only "programming" I did was in high school using LOGO. And that's more than 30 years ago. But yes, I am well aware that the only people that use != are typically programmers.
