Just did mine today, used 3.5" Airaid tubing, and K&N cone filters.
Hood closes with no issue.
Now I just need to make low profile scoops so at speed, fresh air rushes to the filters. Will be logging intake temps as it is now and then see if the scoops make a drastic difference. Will try to match the outside air temperature for both readings.
