N63 dilemma - What do you think?

2012 X5 50i 130k miles M sport. CCP @45k and Valve stem seals done by dealer at around 90k miles under CPO. Turbo wastegate rattles are obvious. Beginning to burn oil again....

I know this topic has been beaten on forever but wanted to ask what you guys think about what I should do. Ideally I would like to keep it for another 2-3 years but don't think the truck will last that long. Option 1: Sell or trade in for something else. Option 2: With the diminished cost of a reman N63 engine (~3500 from what I'm reading) and new turbos, is it financially feasible to swap engines, turbos and replace hoses, lines while I have everything out and hope this will buy me another 2-3 years. I average about 15-17k miles per year.

I'm not sure how much Option 2 will cost me but I'm guessing 7-9k? The other thing concerns me is other items will break along the way e.g. transmission, etc Overall it's in good shape at the moment but I feel like something can go wrong at any time. Alternatively, getting a "new" vehicle would cost me much more but I will have a newer vehicle. What are your thoughts
