Honestly it drives exactly like a regular 7 speed automatic. I didn't even know it was a CVT until I read up on it afterwards so it must be a particularly slick one as I would certainly have noticed if it behaved like a regular CVT. I've driven a Nissan Primera with a CVT and that was a hateful thing. In fact the only thing I noticed when driving it was how there was no pause in power delivery as it changed gear. I thought that was the electric drivetrain continuing to provide propulsion as it changed but that doesn't make sense. Now that I know it is a CVT it is explained. So yes, it feels exactly like a regular automatic, only it is the smoothest most seamless automatic ever.
