Haven't had the opportunity to try Weller 12, yet. Pappy is nothing but hype-train, regardless. There are better bourbons out there for way, WAY less money.

that's the great thing about whiskey: everyone's palate is different. i've told plenty of friends who want to get into drinking whiskey, "start cheap and work your way up. the best thing that can happen to you is that you fall in love with a $30 whiskey."
